THE JOURNEY TO YOUR TRUE ‘ANHELO DI KURASON’
Let’s be honest, how often do you really look in the mirror and ask yourself: What do I truly want? Not what others expect from you, not what seems logical, but your deepest Anhelo di Kurason, the desire your heart has known all along.
Perhaps you don’t know the answer yet, or you might have an indication of what it is, but you’re not yet where it tells you to be.
Wanting something is easy. Getting there is the challenge.
There are two ways to approach that journey: by working hard or by working smart. And let’s be real, hard work alone is no guarantee for success. Just look around. Plenty of people work hard and still feel like they’re stuck in survival mode. If you want to move from merely surviving to truly living, you need a different set of skills.
And if you add the right people to your journey, people who help you connect your Anhelo di Kurason to the right opportunities. Your path becomes much smoother and clearer.
We’re not here to sell you golden promises or a hack to achieve instant satisfaction. We’re here to guide you through a process of personal growth and meaningful connections. No matter what dream or goal you have, you won’t get there alone. The essence of this journey is creating a community of like-minded people who mentor each other and grow together.
Essential Skills
The FutureFit Mindset Accelarator is a 8-month mentorship journey.
1 time a month there will be a workshop of 4 hours, each diving deeper into the following Essential Skills:
Social Deep Learning
The journey of pursuing your Anhelo di Kurason can often feel lonely, but you don’t have to go through it alone. True growth happens in community. Our behaviors are 95% subconsciously driven, and the fastest way to update our mindset is by learning from each other.
“Everyone is a mentor” is our core philosophy. The key is learning how to transform both positive and negative interactions into valuable learning experiences, this is a fundamental skill. By updating our mindset, we can make it work more in our favor, allowing us to navigate challenges with greater ease and confidence.
Together, we’ll create a space where experiences are shared without judgment and turned into powerful moments of growth.
Design Thinking
Who is winning the race to space: Boeing, which hasn’t launched a rocket yet, or SpaceX, which has launched many through a trial-and-error learning cycle?
Are you procrastinating, or are you experiencing fear or doubt when stepping into something new? Working toward perfection or waiting for a magical moment when everything falls into place is not a smart strategy.
Through Design Thinking, you will learn a process to shift from overthinking to executing with confidence. Learn to see failures and feedback as opportunities to grow and move forward.
Scenario Planning
There is no such thing as a “Plan B.” As driven as you are in pursuing Plan A, planning for different scenarios helps you prepare for unforeseen circumstances. It enables you to adapt more effectively to unexpected changes and challenges.
The Social-Economic Council (SER), experts in risk assessment and strategic planning for the island of Curaçao, will teach us how to develop these skills. They will share tips on creating scenarios—even when you don’t have all the information.
Non-Violent Communication
Your Anhelo di Kurason begins as a beautiful wish. But wishes often turn into needs, and needs can become demands—leading to unproductive discussions that don’t serve us.
Learn how to communicate in a way that transforms your wishes into meaningful conversations, rather than difficult discussions. Communication should be a tool for growth, not conflict.
Even in our beautiful language, Papiamentu, blame-shifting is common: “E bus a bai laga mi.” Speaking this way can create misunderstandings and may come across as a demand, rather than an invitation to connect.
By refining our communication, we can foster deeper understanding and create space for constructive dialogue.
Financial Literacy
Having a positive relationship with money is essential. It’s not just about earning more, but about working smarter with what you already have while creating new opportunities.
We come from an island where money has always been an issue. It’s often an emotionally charged topic, and these emotions need space to be acknowledged. Only then can we reframe our mindset and develop a positive association with money.
To build a sustainable business case, you must move beyond a scarcity mindset and set yourself up for a continuous stream of revenue. When you learn to manage money wisely, it continues to fuel your journey towards your Anhelo di Kurason.
